The House and Gardens are open all year round for private tours and group bookings please see our Group & Private Tour page.
Our public House Open season runs May until October, Sunday to Thursday. During this time the grounds are open 11am – 4pm Monday – Thursday and 10am – 5pm on Sundays. May until September house tours run hourly starting at 11.30am and last tour is 3.30pm. In October there are 2 house tours Monday – Thursday 12pm and 2pm, and on Sundays we run hourly tours starting at 11.30am and finishing at 2.30pm
Between November and April, the house is only open on specific event days, please see our event page for more details.
The Hoghton Tower Vaio Tea Room is open April until October, Sunday – Thursday. It is free to access the tea room. Opening times are 11am – 4pm Monday to Thursday and 10am – 4pm Sundays.

All admission prices above include a Gift Aid donation. As a charity we ask that if possible you pay for your admission with a Gift Aid donation. This allows us to claim back the tax you have paid on this money from the Government and use it for vital restoration and conservation work in the house and grounds. In the last year Gift Aid donations have been used for the conservation of our roof as well as other maintenance projects. Without your help our funds for carrying out this vital work would be severely restricted. Please see below for more information on the Gift Aid scheme.
