5th – 22nd December – A Magical Meeting with Father Christmas at Hoghton Tower

5th – 22nd December (Selected dates)

Price: £9 per child & accompanying adults free

Marvel at the magic of Christmas at Hoghton Tower in our magnificent Banqueting Hall where you will find Father Christmas next to the roaring log fire waiting to chat with you in small groups. He will make sure that he knows what every child would like to find on Christmas morning. Each child will receive a gift from underneath the beautifully decorated Christmas Tree and there will be time for you to take individual or family pictures in the festive surroundings.

Your ticket will only be valid for the session booked so please allow plenty of time to park and make your way up to the House. Multiple families will be booked in during each 15 minute time slot. You will see Father Christmas during your booked time slot.

All children require a ticket regardless of age.

There is no charge for accompanying adults but please help us to manage visitor numbers by selecting the appropriate number of adult tickets with your order.

As you know, Father Christmas is a very popular man during the festive period, and as such we have allocated times slots so that visitors can remain socially distant and avoid long queues. Please arrive at the entrance (signposted on site) no more than 5 minutes earlier than the beginning of your booked slot. However, please ensure that you allow enough time to park your car and walk up to the house, especially if you are visiting on our Farmers’ Market Day (Sunday 19th December 2021). Please remember to dress warmly and appropriately for the weather as you may need to wait outside.

*Please note: Site Admission Fees (£2 per car / pedestrian group of up to 6) will also apply on Sunday 19th December when our final Farmers’ Market of 2021 will be taking place between 10am and 2pm (last entry to the market at 1:30pm). This will be a great opportunity to support our local traders and buy those Christmas essentials or any last minute gifts before the big day!

This event is a fundraising event in aid of Hoghton Tower Preservation Trust (Reg. Charity 508357). Thank you for your support and helping to preserve this historic and beautiful Lancashire landmark for generations to come.
