Join Carys Ainsworth Floristry at historic Hoghton Tower for a festive evening of Christmas wreath making.
During this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop, Carys will guide you step by step through creating your own full 12-inch Christmas door wreath using seasonal greenery and traditional festive decorations.
The emphasis will be on creating a generous, plush wreath that you’ll be proud to take home and hang on your door.
Once your wreath has been greened, you’ll be able to personalise it using a decoration bar filled with a variety of festive materials. Choices may include dried oranges, cinnamon, pine cones, lotus heads, berries, baubles and ribbons, allowing every finished wreath to have its own individual character.
No previous floristry experience is needed and Carys will be on hand throughout the workshop to demonstrate techniques and provide individual guidance.

A festive evening at Hoghton Tower
The workshop takes place within the historic surroundings of Hoghton Tower, creating a particularly special setting for a traditional Christmas activity.
Hoghton Tower is cared for by the Hoghton Tower Preservation Trust, Registered Charity 508357. Visits and events help support the ongoing preservation and maintenance of this important historic house and its grounds for future generations.
Arrival
On arrival, please follow the signage for car parking and then make your way to the main Gatehouse at the top of the driveway.
Please book in at the ticket office on the left-hand side as you walk through the archway.

Hoghton Tower is a historic property and some areas may be difficult to access. Please check our accessibility information here before booking.
Booking information
Final bookings will close three days before the workshop to allow enough time for all wreath-making materials to be prepared.
The workshop requires a minimum of 6 bookings to go ahead. If the workshop cannot proceed because the minimum number is not reached, ticket holders will receive a full refund.
All materials are provided and no previous floristry experience is required.
