The guided tour lasts approximately 1 hour and includes the State Bedroom, the Ballroom and magnificent Banqueting Hall as well as a host of other rooms, all with their own amazing stories.
Please be aware that this tour does not include the Underground or the Well House.
Tours start promptly at the time booked, please arrive a few minutes before your advertised start time to allow time to walk from the car park and to book in.
The house can be cold at this time of year, so please do wrap up.

Access
The starting point for the tour is accessed either via two flights of stone steps without a handrail or, alternatively, a single flight of narrower stones steps with a handrail. The tour itself involves a number of flights of stairs and different, sometimes, uneven floor surfaces. Please be aware that unfortunately, prams / pushchairs are not permitted on the house tour. If we have to cancel your booking for any reason, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to transfer your ticket to an alternative session (subject to availability).
